* Poster Contest
Create a drawing (any size paper) that would best represent “Animals of the World.” Markers, Pencils, Paints are all acceptable. For older students, different mediums may also be used; Collage, paint, pastels, graphite (pencil), charcoal, pen and ink, low relief, photography, digital art, textile, or any other medium that can be applied to a 2d surface may be used.
Examples used to describe Earth’s inhabitants include: an image or drawing of animals from all over the world. Use your imagination!
When submitting your design think about the following: What culture does the animal represent? What does the animal mean to you? What image would best represent Earth’s Inhabitants? What colors work best? Student work must be 100% original.

* Mask Contest
\Instructions: Create a cultural mask out of materials of your choice! The mask should best represent a specific culture of the world, but you are free to choose which one! Markers, Pencils, Paints are all acceptable. Different mediums of your choice may be used. Paper Mache, Collage, Paint, Pastels, Graphite (pencil), Charcoal, Pen and Ink, digital art, textile, or any other medium are acceptable.
